Company founder and chief consultant, Sean Michael Wykes M.Eng., has broad experience in secure technology-based projects at both strategic, architetural and development levels. As a born innovator, he has developed diverse technological solutions since 1983, and has experience ranging from hardware and low-level embedded systems through to distributed architectures and enterprise-level applications.

Sean is british born and educated, and has a Masters Degree in Information Engineering from Southampton University, where as a research assistent, he also helped develop compilers for massively distributed systems. As well as the UK, Sean has consultancy and research experience in Belgium, the Phillipines, the United States and Brazil.

In 1997, for personal reasons, he relocated to Brazil, where, through his contacts with USP - University of São Paulo - he was invited to work as an independent systems architect and development team leader in several high-profile secure projects, including an e-Ticketing pilot for the São Paulo public transport system, and industrial-scale smart-card based access control systems.

In 2001, after moving to Porto Alegre in the south of Brazil, he founded Nascent Technology Consultants, a company dedicated to helping businesses create, develop, validate and deploy innovative and secure products.
